Precautions for installation of centrifugal pump seals

1, because the pump mechanical seals are generally applicable in clean, no suspended particles used in the media, therefore, the newly installed piping system and liquid storage irrigation, should be carefully rinsed clean, strictly prevent the solid ' body impurities into the mechanical seal end and make the seal failure.

2, in the easy crystallization of the medium, the use of mechanical seals should pay attention to frequent flushing.

Clean the crystallization on the mechanical seal before restarting after stopping.

3, disassembly of mechanical seals should be careful, do not use hammer, iron and other knocks, so as not to destroy the dynamic, static ring sealing surface.

4, if there is dirt can not be removed, should try to remove dirt, rinse clean and then disassemble, so as not to damage the sealing elements.

5, before installing the mechanical seal, should check whether all sealing elements have failure or damage, if any, should be re-repaired or replaced. 6, should strictly check the dynamic ring and static ring of the relative friction sealing surface, do not allow any minor scratches, bumps and other defects. All other parts, including pump body, impeller, sealing cavity, etc. should be rinsed clean before assembly, especially the moving, static ring end surface, to be carefully wiped clean with clean, soft cloth or cotton yarn, and then coated with a layer of clean grease or oil.
