When to choose double mechanical seals?

- For corrosive fluids, the double seal design allows for the use of a buffer or barrier fluid (compatible with the process fluid) to protect the seal faces from direct contact with highly corrosive media.
- In applications involving high pressure or high temperature, double seals offer better stability and durability, as the buffer/barrier fluid can help dissipate heat and balance pressure.
