The GLF-SA mechanical seal is a long spring O-ring type shaft seal designed for Grundfos CM horizontal pumps and CRK multistage pumps with 12 mm and 16 mm shafts. It fits Grundfos CM 1/3/5, CM 10/15/25, CRK2, CRK4, CRK8 and CRK16 models, making this seal a direct replacement that restores original pump performance without adaptation.

The long spring O-ring construction features a rigid torque transmission design required for hard material pairings such as WC/WC or SiC/SiC, even where lubrication is poor, and the unbalanced seal geometry keeps installation simple and reliable.

The seal operates at pressures up to 3MPa, media temperatures from -20°C to 180°C and sliding velocities up to 15 m/s, covering both standard CM pump duty and demanding CRK multistage applications. The rotary and stationary rings can be selected from carbon, silicon carbide and tungsten carbide, with O-rings in EPDM, NBR, AFLAS, Kalrez or PTFE and springs and metal parts in SUS304, SUS316 or Hastelloy C. For high-temperature service we recommend heat-resistant elastomer compounds. Every GLF-SA mechanical seal is 100% pressure-tested before shipment and backed by our ISO9001 quality management system.
